Add New Store

Only the admin can create a store/franchise, Offline / Online / Both based on Zip zone. Activation mail received to store mail to configure the password. If the admin doesn’t fill in the store details the store owner should do this. This type of store is viewed in pending stores. After this, the admin can verify the store details and make the store active. Else it will be in a pending state. The store can only have products only when the admin makes this store to active status. This ACTIVE store count is shown in the dashboard widget.

The process by which Admin creates an account for Stores from his back office

• Admin creates an account for each store.

Pre Conditions

Admin should be provided with the following details of the store owner

1. First Name and Last Name 

2. Email

3. Username

Step by Step process to add a new store.

1. Admin accesses the “Add new store” menu from his Back Office and fills the following mandatory form fields to initiate the store registration process. 

   1. Store owner details (Mandatory)

      1. First Name

      2. Last Name

      3. Username

      4. User Email address.

   2. Following store details will be assigned by the admin for each store. 

      1. Select box - Zone Area(Multiple zones are allowed for a store)

      2. Mode of purchase of the store - Online Store/offline store/Both.

      3. Store type - Store /Franchise

   3. Store details(Optional for admin)

      1. Store Name.

      2. Store Email address

      3. Store Phone number.

      4. Store Hours of operation (optional)

      5. Country.

      6. Region/State

      7. Zip/Postal code

      8. City

      9. Street Address

      10. Vat Number.

      11. Store logo(if store option is selected as a store type)

      12. Store social media  links (if store option is selected as a store type)

Note: While the admin creates an account for the store and skips the store details admin can proceed with registration but it should be filled by the Store owner once he login otherwise the store will be in pending status, the status will be changed to active once admin approves the details submitted.

2. An Email will be sent to the registered email id of the new store, with instructions to set his password.

3. Welcome email must be sent to the new store's registered mail id, with details

   1. If the store details are skipped there will be an additional note to the store owner to fill the store details. 

4. Notification mail must be sent to the respective registered mail id of the admin when store status changes from pending to active

   On successful registration by admin with store details.

   1. On store details completion by the store owner.

Manage Stores

Admin can manage all incomplete and completed stores. The only store with store details are shown in one of the views and the other view shows the store without store details

Either admin or store can configure this. The store will be active when the admin changes the store status to active.
